Toulouse and Nantes should play attacking football in the French Cup final.
In the French Cup final, Toulouse will play Nantes in Paris at the legendary Stade de France. For both teams, the mere fact of reaching the final is a huge achievement. So Nantes need to think not only about the French Cup final, but also about saving their place in the elite. However, all the Canaries' thoughts are currently focused on the game against Toulouse. In the semi-finals, Nantes thrashed Lyon 1-0, and in the quarterfinals they beat Lans 2-1. It was not an easy journey for Nantes. But these victories for the Canaries came against a backdrop of nine unbeaten matches in Ligue 1. In the previous round, Nantes drew with Troyes (2-2), before losing to Auxerre (1-2) and shared the points with Monaco (2-2). Toulouse had better luck with their Cup opponents. It beat Annecy (2-1) in the semi-finals and Rhodes (6-1) in the quarter-finals. In the championship, Toulouse beat Lorient (1-0) in the last round, before losing to Lyon (1-2) and beating Montpellier (2-1). Nantes and Toulouse last met in August. Nantes won 3-1.
