Montpellier have won two matches in a row. How will the encounter with Lille play out?

Montpellier take on Lille in the sixth leg of the French championship. While the home side have had an excellent start to the season, Lille have had a mixed start to the championship. On Matchday 1, the Dogs thrashed Auxerre 4-1, then drew 1-1 with Nantes and then suffered a 1-7 defeat at PSG. But after that, they managed to beat Ajaccio (3-1). In the last round, things started well against Nice, with Lille opening the scoring. However, the Eagles scored twice on penalties to keep the score level. On the other hand, there are enough problems in defence and organisation of the game. That said, Montpellier themselves attack a lot and play some reckless football. That allowed them to beat Troyes 3-2 in the first leg, but then suffered defeats to PSG (2-5) and Auxerre (1-2). Since then, Montpellier have already beaten Brest away (7-0) and defeated Ajaccio at home (2-0), so the Paladins are in good form. And the meeting with Lille could be on a head-to-head basis. Interestingly, for Montpellier, Lille have long been uncomfortable opponents. The Dane defeated the Paladins in both rounds last season, with Montpellier's last win over Lille coming in November 2017. In terms of losses, Lille have Cabella, and Vea injured, while Montpellier have Omlin and Savannier suspended, with Berto, St Lucas and Pedro Mendes all injured. This could affect the quality of Montpellier's game, but it is unlikely to have a critical impact.
