Cremonese – Sassuolo

Attacking teams will not leave the field without an abundance of goals

Cremonese remain one of only two teams without a point after four rounds. And although the statistics themselves are not the brightest, there are no significant complaints about the team. "The Grigiorossi have a very attractive attacking football, and the calendar that the league newcomer faces would be difficult even for higher-ranked clubs. At the start of the season, Alvini's charges have played against Fiorentina, Roma, Torino and Inter. It is important to note that only the Romans were held scoreless by Cremonese, and in some cases they were extremely close to splitting the points. In the last game against Inter, the Grigiorossi were obviously not in favour. Nevertheless, the team snapped back and tried to impose their football. It was this audacity that allowed Okereke to score. Cremonese deserved far more than they had. Sassuolo claimed victory against Milan. It could have happened had Domenico Berardi, the hero of the team, converted a penalty. Nevertheless, a 0-0 win against the champions was a clear winner. Prior to that, the Neroverdi had shared points with La Spezia, beaten Lecce and suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Juventus. The team is off to a poor start and has yet to produce a consistent performance (albeit in the past). Sassuolo's signings are worth mentioning: the Dionisi were assisted by Armand Laurentiis and Janis Antiste. But the latter's participation (as well as Berardi's unfortunately) in this encounter is questionable. The Cremonese face a tough calendar, but have not lost heart. The team is showing attractive football and clearly wants to get their first points in the league. Given that the Grigiorossi tend to score offensively rather than defensively, they have been the team to concede the most points all season. Against a similarly adventurous Sassuolo, Alvini's side can certainly look forward to a win. However, it is more likely to be a goalscoring affair. The opponents can hardly hide their attacking potential and mistakes in defence.
