Leaving aside the Champions League semi-finals and other European games, one of the highlights of the week is Manchester United's clash with Chelsea. Ronaldo and company have conceded an average of three goals per game from Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal this season. The team has yet to solve deep problems in defence, and attempts to compensate for them by playing well in attack are not always successful. Chelsea have long played in a relatively defensive style. "The Blues have long lost any realistic chance of winning the title and just as long ago they lost significant risks of relegation from the Champions League zone. In April alone, Chelsea lost to Arsenal and Brentford, allowing both opponents to score four goals each, a shocking statistic for the days of Thomas Tuchel's leadership. The upcoming match between the glorious rivals will take place at a time when both sides are already weakly motivated, but both Manchester United and Chelsea have something to prove to themselves and their fans. This match is likely to move away from the usual "low-scoring" competition of the last year and a half and allow the strikers to prove themselves.
