Lazio will continue their battle for European spots

Victory over Sassuolo is unlikely to rehabilitate Lazio after the dramatic defeat to Roma. However, Maurizio Sarri's side picked up three points in their last game without any thoughts of a fiasco. The Romans won 2-1, only allowing the Neroverdi to score in the 90+4th minute. The motivation of the Romans themselves remains high, with a place in the European competitions at stake. Genoa lost for the first time after an impressive series. A worrying call, given that Hellas are unlikely to have enough motivation at the end of the season. Alexander Blessin's side, on the other hand, have plenty of motivation as they are three points away from the relegation zone. At the same time, Genoa go side by side with Venezia, who have the advantage. The big problem for the Griffons is that they will have to play against AC Milan, Juventus and Napoli. Obviously, the team will struggle in all matches, but will they find the strength they need? Genoa, it is worth recalling, have only two wins in the league (the lowest number). The meeting statistics between these two teams are not in Genoa's favour. For example, Lazio have won four of their last five matches and they led 3-1 in their first encounter. And even if it looks "easy" to bet on the visitors, it's worth taking advantage of. Maurizio Sarri (and the team) are well aware of the importance of picking up points against such opponents. For Genoa, on the other hand, the struggle is still ahead of them.
